The name Blend in Blue is inspired by the natural beauty and emotional character of the Greek islands the deep blue of the Aegean Sea, the clear blue Greek sky, and the atmosphere that makes island life feel both grounding and uplifting.

For us, “blending in blue” also expresses a way of being: to move with the rhythm of the island, to honor the landscape, and to create stays and services that feel connected, thoughtful, and authentic.

Flora Koukli - Founder & CEO

Flora Koukli is the founder and driving force behind the brand, bringing together more than three decades of experience, a background in psychology and human resources, and a professional path shaped within multinational companies.

As an entrepreneur, she brings a cross-cultural perspective, deep local experience, and a multidisciplinary background across business, human resources, real estate, and people-centered operations. Her experience in startup environments and multinational business settings contributes to the company’s structured, service-led approach and long-term vision.

Deeply inspired by the Greek value of philoxenia, Flora’s vision of hospitality goes beyond service. It is about creating a sense of belonging, trust, and genuine care. Guided by strong principles of ethics, authenticity, and respect, she believes that meaningful experiences are built through integrity as much as through excellence.

Under her direction, the brand reflects a philosophy that is both refined and deeply human — where elevated hospitality meets trust, thoughtful detail, and heartfelt connection.

Efi Koukli - Guest & Owner Relations Manager

Efi partnered with Blend in Blue in a managerial customer-relations role, bringing a strong service mindset, reliability, and a highly responsible approach to communication and day-to-day operational support.

Born in Australia, Efi brings an international understanding of guest expectations together with deep familiarity with Greek culture and hospitality. This bicultural perspective has been especially valuable in serving international travelers while maintaining strong local grounding in Naxos.

With a background in interior design and extensive experience in managerial roles in high end retail both abroad and in Greece—she combines customer care with practical operational awareness. Her experience supports a polished guest experience while also contributing to consistent communication and coordination across the business.

Having lived in Naxos, she also brings valuable local familiarity and a strong understanding of the rhythm and expectations of island hospitality.
